Editorial policy

Our goal is that everything we publish is accurate, useful and independent. These are the rules the BrokerRating editorial team follows.

Where does our information come from?

  • Official regulator registers, to verify licences and their numbers.
  • The company's official website and legal documents (client agreement, fee schedule, risk disclosure).
  • Trusted international and educational bodies such as IOSCO, ESMA and investor-protection agencies.

We do not copy ratings or reviews from other sites, and we do not publish figures we cannot tie to a source.

Do advertisers influence our content?

No. Editorial and rating decisions are separate from advertising and affiliate agreements. No company can buy a higher rating, a place in our rankings, or the removal of accurate negative information. Links that may earn us a commission carry a clear disclosure.

How do we keep content up to date?

We review broker pages regularly and whenever something important changes, such as a new or withdrawn licence or a regulator warning. Every page shows its last-updated date. AI helps us translate and organise data, but facts and ratings are checked by an editor.

What happens when we get something wrong?

Send the error through our contact form with a source. We verify it, correct the page and update its date.

How do we handle user reviews?

We moderate user reviews before publishing them to block fake, promotional and abusive posts; we never remove a review because it is negative. User ratings are shown separately from the editor's rating.
